The Camino is one of the world’s great walking journeys - part adventure, part pilgrimage, part practical challenge, and part personal reset.
Power of Pilgrimage offers Camino talks, practical guidance and a 1-Day Camino Ready Workshop to help you prepare with confidence.
We’ll be walking the Camino again in July, through August to Septmber, 2026. That is why our guidance is grounded by lived experience.
Decades of lived experience, life coaching, Spanish language skills and first-hand Camino experience, we help people prepare a practical, personal and realistic journey.
For some people, the Camino is a walking holiday.
For others, it arrives at a turning point.
Either way, the preparation matters.
The broader Walking Back to Yourself pathway begins from October 2026.
For now, the focus is helping people get Camino-ready.

The Camino is simple in one sense.
- You get up.
- You walk.
- You eat.
- You sleep.
- You do it again.
But before you go, the decisions can feel endless.
- Which route?
- How many days?
- How much training?
- What shoes?
- What pack?
- What to book?
- Where do you sleep?
- How do you avoid the classic mistakes?
That is what my Camino talks and 1-day workshop are designed to clarify.
- Not hype.
- Not a sell.
- Not theory.
Practical guidance from someone who knows the path, the doubts, the mistakes, and the magic.
Body - build your walking base
Prepare your feet, legs and energy for walking day after day.
Not extreme fitness - just enough strength, rhythm and confidence to feel ready.
Mind - quieten all the noise
Sort through the doubts, overthinking and endless advice.
Create space to make clear decisions on your journey and before you go
Direction - know your Camino
Choose the route, timeframe and style of Camino that fits your body, season, budget and reason for walking.
This is the tip of the arrow.
Let's get it all aligned
1.
We know the path from within.
I have walked the Camino, prepared for it, made mistakes, adjusted, learned and gone back again.
I know the questions people ask before they go: which route, how far, how fit, what shoes, what pack, where to sleep, and whether they can really do it.
My role is to make those questions clearer, calmer and more manageable.
33 jobs. 33 homes. 33 countries. From small towns to big boardrooms, I’ve seen life from a lot of angles. That matters, because when things shift, you don’t need more theory.
You need someone who understands how real life actually works.
2.
We know how transition feels.
I’ve built businesses, and I’ve lost them.
I’ve carried responsibility, and I’ve had to rebuild.
I’ve stood at that point where things change and the next step isn’t obvious.
This isn’t something I’ve read about. I’ve lived it.
3.
We don’t give answers.
We help you find yours.
Qualifications matter, and I have them.
But real progress comes from something else:
- asking the right questions
- creating space to think
- and helping you see clearly again
That’s where the shift happens.
4.
We do this work ourselves.
I’m not on the sidelines. I’m writing, building, walking, and continuing my own path. This isn’t a side project.
It’s the work I’m committed to, every day.
A practical day for people seriously considering the Camino de Santiago.
This workshop helps you move from curiosity to a realistic Camino plan.
We cover:
- which Camino route may suit you
- how long you may need
- how fit you really need to be
- what to pack and what to leave behind
- how accommodation, food and luggage transfer work
- what a typical day on the trail feels like
- common mistakes, doubts and surprises
- how to begin shaping your own Camino plan
and soooo much more.
If you are wondering whether the Camino is possible for you, this is the place to start.
A clear, practical introduction to the Camino de Santiago - what it is, how it works, and how ordinary people actually do it.
These talks are for people who are curious about the Camino and want a grounded overview before deciding whether to go further.
If you’re looking for something more tailored, we can design it with you.
Private group programs work well for:
- leadership teams
- professional associations
- and small groups wanting a shared experience
A longer walking-based pathway for people navigating transition, retirement, change or the search for a more meaningful next chapter.
Walking Back to Yourself uses walking, reflection and practical coaching to help you reset, rebuild and refocus.
Programs begin from October 2026.
For now, you can register interest or start with a conversation.
Sometimes you don’t need more information. You need a clear head.
This is personal, one-to-one work for when things feel unclear, stuck, or in transition.
Not advice.
Not theory.
A space to think clearly, talk honestly, and work things through.
We start with a simple conversation.
From there, we shape a way forward that fits your life - not a template.
Using a clear structure to:
- step out of the noise
- understand what’s really going on
- and move forward with something that actually holds
Practical tools are part of it. But more importantly,
you start to see things differently.
If something needs to shift, this is where we start.
Every change starts somewhere.
You don’t have to do it on your own.
